Skill Drill 24-11: Removing the Roof of a Vehicle
Hell yeah! Keep posting man
Don't forget to open the air bleed on the inlet port on the engine. This will bleed the line of air as you charge the line, so you don't cavate the pump. 32 years as a firefighter/driver.
He's so handome
❤
🇮🇶🇮🇶👍👍
❤❤
Nice Leaf blower
This is by far the best, most straight forward video I’ve seen on how to take down a garage door. Thanks for sharing!
😍
The way you read at the beginning gave me flashbacks of NREMT testing w
Great job RRFR btw I'm Steven Lewis's daughter
SfaAtt yard Christmas sav xxx fun can FB xdvxkdjdjdkdf bending CB CB vacation Evan Dena as Chang FB
As the lead instructor at my fire department I am just wondering why your recruits train without PPE/SCBA when doing a vehicle fire. timestamp 01:43
Too much wind to hear your audio.
Why isn’t the hydrant bag in the same spot as the 5” hose? That would make sense.
Thank you
These dudes not being able to be serious is great 😂
Put your purse down and roll the damn thing. I’m joking
that hydrant in the video opens counter-clockwise but the hydrants in New York open clock-wise
oooow you forget the MOST IMPORTANT step, FIRST check if it is depressurized. The stem should be inspected and cleaned each time. This is a dangerous video! Please read the Johnson Controls/Sentry manual!
Amazing
The bear drag Ah good old memories
Also known as fore and aft carry
This only works if the victim holds his arms at his sides. It slides off as soon as the victim goes limp. It’s not practical for movement over more than a short distance. (Bonafides: 30yr firefighter, 10yr training officer, 20yr tactical medic)
You can incorporate the legs into it if you have time. But there are better drags out there.
Turn the water on and off slowly boys, you can create water hammer and blow the main. Then you have no water.
That looks amazing
Very helpful ty
Thank you for this video. I am in a fire academy right now and have been having trouble performing a leg lock with my size 13 boots lol
He shouldn’t have stepped in front the hydrant. He can do all that work from behind… 13 turns and half a quarter
Great information
Where do you get the foam ?

Wow, by the time all of this is done the house will have burned down.
It's a training video...lol.
you think they’d be going this slow during a fire? 😂😂
I remember first day of hose skills before I learned to stand on roll and kick to tighten my assistant chief came and punched the middle out when I said I though it was tight lol. Then he showed me the heel trick lol.
Using the rit in the close enclosed SCBA maze is rough
Bout to head in and do it this morning.
God those are real tactics? No Wonder so many accidents Happen in the us with firefighters
I do this nearly daily doing gutters, it kills your lower back and calves though.
Did they say that 😮❤❤❤
But you know how much 🍤🍔

sir..dont drag the male coupling..
This was caused by a propane water heater that caught fire .
when would you use the high pressure hose vs the low pressure hose?
The high pressure hose supplies air directly to the tank. Scbas have 2 air regulators. The first one is on the side of the pack and reduces the air to only a couple hundred psi, this air feeds the regulator that attaches to the face piece. The pressure from the high pressure hose on this ric pack would be too much for the face piece regulator, which is why you would use the low pressure hose.

Great simulated video....very helpful. However, in real life you should never touch your turnout gear without full PPE. Touching the carcinogenetic contaminated TOG is NEVER recommended. The VOC are very dangerous. The best method is to use Doff'n DECON (from INTELAGARD) on site before gear is removed. It is now possible to double the decontamination numbers and remain compliant with the 1851 protocols. This is a VERY REAL danger that can be mitigated. Please take the time to save your life and those of your friends and family.
Which leg is injured? ruclips.net/video/CrikKHIk0_Q/видео.html is better.
You must ensure pressurized water. That fireman did not check for "pressure". That could very well be a "dead hydrant.". You must ensure pressure. This is embarrassing.
Cool you did it the good way cause I just saw one who was opening too fast, could damage the water line by hammering it, pipe burst is not really usefull.
I've always wondered why the hydrant main hose is aimed into the street (where stupid drivers park illegally) rather than parallel to the street so the main line can turn between two cars? I know it would need to be a little longer, but it assures the line can aways go between or over cars.
Hydrant wrench knocks windows out well enough
Here In new york they break your car windows and pass the hose through .
@@everdream741 We've watched in the movies. Always a great laugh!
Also keep in mind when that 5" is charged it mine as well be a filled with concrete. The loop you would have to make would waste so much time. Like everyone said bust out the windows, or if need be push the car out of the way with another vehicle
Not how Strathclyde fire do it
